Portrait of Thérése F. Eder

Thérése Eder has been working as a research associate at IWM in the Leibniz Research Group Digitisation and Education since July 2023. In her research, she investigates how digital tools can be used in education, especially in the field of assessment and computer-based feedback. In doing so, she addresses cognitive psychology issues with process-oriented data such as eye-tracking. Previously, Thérése Eder worked as a research associate in the Multiple Representations lab and was interested in research transfer in the context of school education and digitisation into practice. Thérése Eder is an associate postdoctoral researcher at the Graduate School and Research Network LEAD (Learning, Educational Achievement, and Life Course Development) at the University of Tübingen.

Thérése Eder graduated in psychology (M.Sc. 2017) at the University of Tübingen with a focus on knowledge, communication, and media psychology as well as clinical psychology. During her studies, she was a research assistant at IWM. She completed her dissertation in July 2021. As part of her dissertation, Thérése Eder investigated, in a project of the Leibniz-WissenschaftsCampus Tübingen (WCT), how dental students search for anomalies in radiographs in their training and developed interventions to foster their competence.
