For the project „Tablet PCs in the classroom“, the KMRC cooperates with the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, Youth and Sports (Maurice Florencio Bonnet), the HdM in Stuttgart (Prof Dr. Frank Thissen), as well as the PH Schwaebisch Gmuend (Joerg Labriga and Michael Stuetz) in order to investigate the risks and chances of using tablet PCs (iOS and Android) in the classroom. For that purpose, we have conducted regular surveys in project schools to identify factors of successful lessons with the devices. Whereas the first phase of the project was mainly concerned with the technical implementation, the second phase of the project focuses on processes in the classroom.
