Dr. Yvonne Kammerer

Member of the Multimodal Interaction Lab.

Yvonne Kammerer has been working as a research scientist at the IWM in the Multimodal Interactions Lab of Prof. Dr. Gerjets since January 2008. In May 2011 she finished her PhD and now works as a post-doc in this lab. Furthermore, from March to May 2008 she worked as a visiting researcher at the Palo Alto Research Center (PARC) in California, USA, and from June to July 2011 at the University of Valencia, Spain. In her research she is interested in information seeking and evaluation on the WWW, multiple documents comprehension, hypermedia learning, eye tracking and human-computer interaction (HCI).

Yvonne Kammerer studied psychology at the University of Tuebingen and the University of Madrid (diploma 2007) with a focus on educational and media psychology and industrial and organizational psychology. During her studies she worked as a student assistant at the KMRC, at the Psychological Institute of the University of Tuebingen at the department of Applied Cognitive and Media Psychology, and as an intern at Daimler AG, Stuttgart, Research and Technology. During her diploma thesis, she worked as a student assistant at the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering, Stuttgart at the department Human-Computer Interaction.

Yvonne Kammerer is a member of the IWM postdoc network 'Cognitive Conflicts During Media Use'.
