Scientist
Dr. Angelina Böhnisch
Member of the Perception and Action lab
Since July 2024, Angelina Böhnisch has been acting as the project coordinator for the sustainable transfer products package of the "Leibniz-Lab Systemic Sustainability" project. She is also a postdoc with the Perception and Action working group. Angelina has a multidisciplinary background in development policy planning, environmental and natural resources management and health and intercultural communication management.
Currently, her research areas of interest are on how conflicting information affects comprehension and decision-making processes, especially on critical cases and explorations into how perceptual actions arising from multisensory integration of visual verses auditory cues impact the execution of actions.
In 2021, Angelina Böhnisch obtained her doctorate in health communication management from the Freiberg University of Mining and Technology. Her research shed light on systems and stakeholder-oriented approaches to scientific communication in the effective management of epidemic outbreaks with the 2014/2015 Ebola outbreak as her case study.
