Kristina Dawidowsky

Member of JRC Social Media

Since October 2018, Kristina Dawidowsky has been a research assistent at the IWM and is part of the workgroup  Social Media. Her main research area are self visualizations within the Eurostars-Project „Dr. Tide: Digital Research Tailored Information Detector“. She focuses on the effects of interaction with graphical data representations in terms of knowledge gain and which graphical representations are best suited for interactions. Furthermore she researches the effect self visualizations, which users can customize to fit their individual preferences and  prior knowledge, can have on decision-making processes.

Kristina Dawidowsky received her Master’s degree in 2018 in Computer Science at the University of Tübingen with Psychology and Business Studies as subsidiary subjects. From 2012 to 2018 she worked as a student assistent with teaching assignments at the University of Tübingen in the Human-Computer-Interaction department. During her studies she focused on Usability, User Interface Design and Software Developement. In her Master‘s thesis she developed and analysed a tablet screening for testing basal reading skills for elementary school students
