Member of the Multimodal Interaction Lab
Laura Peiffer-Siebert has been a research assistant at the IWM in the Multimodal Interaction lab since October 2021. As part of the project "Persecution and Administration", she is involved in the development of a multi-touch application for the Sachsenhausen Memorial. Her responsibilities include coordinating and incorporating the application content and conducting the empirical accompanying research.
In 2013/14 she already worked for the project "Intuitive and personalized visitor information with interactive displays in museums (EyeVisit)" at the IWM and also generated different content for tabletop displays and mobile devices in 2016 within the project " Intuitive und collaborative interaction with digital media on tabletop-displays".
Laura Peiffer-Siebert studied art history and educational science at the University of Tübingen and Bologna (Magister) and was particularly interested in museum pedagogical issues. She worked as a museum educator at the Stadtmuseum Tübingen and the Kunstmuseum Spendhaus in Reutlingen. In addition, she designed museum educational course programs for the "DigiSelbst" project, which explored how drawing digital self-portraits in art museums can improve social and emotional skills in young people.
