Dr. Nora Umbach

Dr. Nora Umbach

Since January 2018, Nora Umbach has worked as a scientific assistant at the IWM. She is responsible for consulting and support for PhDs and Postdocs for statistical data analyses and research data storage as well as the organization of seminars on statistical topics. In her former projects, she did research on nonlinear structural equation models and their uses in Education Science and the mathematical modeling of lightness perception. 

In 2008, Nora Umbach graduated from the University of Tübingen with a diploma in psychology. From 2008 to 2014, she worked as a Ph.D. student at the research group for Research Methods and Mathematical Psychology at the University of Tübingen.
