Member of Multiple Representations lab
In March 2019, Salome Wörner started working as a research associate and PhD student at the IWM in the Multiple Representations Lab. In her research, she deals with the question of how real and virtual experiments can be combined in an educationally meaningful way in science lessons. Since April 2019, she has been a member of the Tübingen School of Education (TüSE) and an associated PhD student of the LEAD (Learning, Educational Achievement, and Life Course Development) Graduate School & Research Network at the University of Tübingen. Salome Wörner has been accepted as a Junior Fellow in the Kolleg Didaktik:digital of the Joachim Herz Foundation with her project "Orchestration of Real and Virtual Experiments" in the cohort 2020-2022.
Salome Wörner first studied physics at the University of Ulm (B.Sc. 2015) and completed her Master of Education in Physics and Mathematics at the University of Stuttgart (M.Ed. 2019). During her master studies she worked as a substitute teacher. In addition, Salome Wörner taught physics and mathematics as a lecturer at the Aalen University of Applied Sciences. Since 2018, she has been a member of the selection and monitoring committee of the Deutsche Telekom Foundation's multi-year project "The Future of STEM Learning".
