Ernestine Simone Mbak

Member of the portal team of e-teaching.org.

Simone Mbak has been working as a research associate at the IWM since May 2016. Her emphases lie on online editorial and social media publishing. Her tasks include research and editorial preparations, as well as the continual revision of scientific and practical contents for the e-teaching.org online services, maintenance of social media channels and the implementation and coordination of public relations activities. She is also involved in the development and implementation of concepts for targeting new audiences for the portal through a science-based approach.

She studied at the University of Heidelberg, where she obtained a degree in History and History of Arts in 2011. Alongside her studies she worked in the field of web publishing, web design and database maintenance. After graduating, she worked as web content manager, online marketing manager and online project manager.
