Reena Pauly
Member of Realistic Depictions Lab
Reena Pauly started her work at the IWM as a researcher and PhD student in the Realistic Depictions lab in July 2022. She studies the processing of information which is characterized by both a temporal and spatial dimension. An example for that kind of information are dynamic thematic maps. In particular, she is interested in identifying the factors influencing how people structure temporal and spatial changes and integrate them into mental representations. This work contributes to the Leibniz Research Alliance “Value of the Past”.
Reena Pauly studied psychology at the TU Dresden (B.Sc. 2018). During her master studies in the field Cognitive Systems at the University of Ulm (M.Sc. 2021) she focused on the topic of learning – by both humans and machines. Afterwards, she worked as a research intern in the Rationality Enhancement Group at the Max-Planck-Institute for Intelligent Systems in Tübingen.
