Member of Multimodal Interaction lab
Since July 2018, Georg Pardi has been a research assistant and PhD student at the IWM in the Multimodal Interaction Lab of Prof. Dr. Gerjets. In the context of the project SALIENT (Search as Learning – Investigating, Enhancing, and Predicting Learning during Multimodal (Web) Search), he investigates the search for knowledge on the internet as part of the learning process. One focus of his research is the investigation of search behaviour supported by eye-tracking.
Georg Pardi studied e-learning and media education at the Heidelberg University of education (M.A). In his master thesis, he examined the evaluation and selection behaviour of learners on search engine result pages (SERP) during the search for procedural knowledge. Procedural knowledge involves knowing “how” to perform a concrete action.
