Member of Multiple Representations lab
Since Semptember 2017, Thérése Eder has been a research associate and PhD student at the IWM in the Multiple Representation lab. In October 2017, she became an associated PhD student of the LEAD Graduate School & Research Network (Learning, Educational Achievement, and Life Course Development) at the University of Tübingen. Thérése Eder investigates the image reading skills of dental medicine students in their studies within a project of the Leibniz-WissenschaftsCampus Tübingen (WCT) Cognitive Interfaces. Thereby, she wants to develop innovative teaching strategies to support the processes underlying the diagnosis of medical images.
Thérése Eder graduated in psychology at the University of Tübingen (M.Sc. 2017) with a focus on Knowledge, Communication and Media Psychology and Clinical Psychology. In her master thesis, she investigated the development of visual expertise for the interpretation of dental medicine x-rays with eyetracking. Her bachelor thesis treated an adaptive system to support multimedia learning. From 2013 to 2017, she worked as a student assistant at the IWM.
