Stellvertretende Leiterin der Arbeitsgruppe Alltagsmedien
Christine Anderl ist seit Oktober 2020 wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin in der Arbeitsgruppe Alltagsmedien (bis März 2022 Nachwuchsgruppe Soziale Medien) und seit Oktober 2023 deren stellvertretende Leiterin.
Ihre Forschung konzentriert sich darauf, wie Menschen über digitale Medien interagieren, sich vernetzen und arbeiten. In einem ihrer laufenden Projekte untersucht sie beispielsweise die Auswirkungen und Erfolgsfaktoren virtueller Meetings. Im speziellen Fokus der Untersuchungen steht dabei die individuelle Nutzung der Kamera bei Videokonferenzen und deren positive und negative Auswirkungen. Christine Anderl interessiert sich insgesamt dafür, wie digitale Technologien dafür eingesetzt werden können, Gesundheit und Wohlbefinden zu fördern. Sie ist Mitglied der Ethikkommission des IWM und des IWM-Gesundheitszirkels.
Christine Anderl studierte Psychologie (LMU München und Université de Montréal) und Neuro-Cognitive Psychology (LMU München; M.Sc.) und schloss im Oktober 2015 an der Goethe-Universität Frankfurt ihre Promotion in Psychologie ab. Im Anschluss daran arbeitete sie von 2016 bis 2017 im Lehrgebiet Urteilen und Entscheiden der FernUniversität Hagen, bevor sie von 2017 bis 2020 im Rahmen eines von der Alexander von Humboldt-Stiftung geförderten Feodor-Lynen-Postdoc-Stipendiums im Social Health Lab an der University of British Columbia in Vancouver forschte.
