Member of the Language and AI in Education Lab
Benedikt Beuttler has been a research assistant in Prof Dr Detmar Meurers' new working group Language and AI in Education since May 2024. He works there in the "WoLKE" project, a cooperation project with the Ludwigsburg University of Education and the Schwäbisch Gmünd University of Education. In the "WoLKE" project, teaching-learning formats for the reflective use of AI tools in teacher training programmes are being developed that convey subject-specific didactic practice and a sound understanding of the potentials and limitations of AI methods.
Before joining the IWM, Benedikt Beuttler studied Business Informatics at the DHBW Stuttgart (B.Sc. 2013), Media Informatics in Tübingen (M.Sc. 2017) and completed his doctorate in Cognitive Science in 2024. He also worked for several years as a research assistant in computational linguistics at the University of Tübingen.
