Promotion of young talent

The IWM sees promoting and challenging its own young talent as one of its central tasks.

Doctoral candidates are therefore supported at the IWM by being integrated into a structured doctoral programme. Postdocs have the opportunity to be accepted into the IWM's internal talent programme. This programme offers them access to their own funding opportunities.

Postdocs at the IWM

The postdocs at the IWM carry out key research work, are important contributors within their working groups and multipliers of IWM research at national and international levels. For this reason, it is particularly important to the IWM to support young researchers on their path to early independence and to create framework conditions that take into account the diversity of career paths during and after the postdoc phase.
