Lara Ditrich ist seit 2024 wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin in der Arbeitsgruppe Wissenskonstruktion und seit Dezember 2021 Fellow im Margarete von Wrangell-Programm des Ministeriums für Wissenschaft, Forschung und Kunst Baden-Württemberg. In ihrem Projekt untersucht sie die Rolle von Emotionen – insbesondere Ärger und Angst - im Kontext von kollektivem Protest.

Am IWM arbeitet sie seit 2013, wo sie zunächst in der Arbeitsgruppe Soziale Prozesse ihre Promotion abschloss (01/2017) und dann von 2017 bis 2024 als Postdoc tätig war. Von Februar 2020 bis November 2021 war sie Sprecherin des Postdoc-Netzwerks Kognitive Konflikte bei der Mediennutzung des IWM.
